Dell Latitude E6510 new battery not charging on AC power
- Charger, bad battery, bad power connector on the laptop would cause this. Since the battery is new, see if they will send a replacement. If that one does not charge, check with a new charger. If that also does not work, have the jack looked at.
- THE ONLY ADVICE ALL YOU DUMB NEED IS:
- REPLACE YOUR CHARGER OR POWER ADAPTER CAUSE ITS NOT CHARGING YOUR BATTERY
- If your charger is making a funny noise I'd suspect it first. Get a new one and try it out. Many laptops have trouble with the adapter where the charger plugs into the laptop. These become loose and connections are broken. They're not too hard to replace but try a new charger first. And check the manufacturers we site for charger specs
